Seminars and Workshops

Seminars and workshops on green building practices, techniques, products and service are offered to council and HBA members throughout the year.

Programs include Building an Energy Star home; How to Begin the NAHB Green Certification process; and the Certified Green Professional (CGP) designation courses sponsored by NAHB.

Council meetings also offer monthly educational programs.

Building An Energy Star Home

Danny Gough with Energy Solutions provides a 1 1/2 day seminar on how to build an Energy Star Home. This is a very detailed course for builders wanting to learn the A-Z's of building high performance, energy efficient homes.

NAHB Certified Green Professional ( CGP ) designation courses

Green Building for Building Professionals and Business Management for Building Professionals courses are offered for members to achieve the CGP designation.
