About Us
The Triad Green Building Council is comprised of members from the following home builders associations in the Triad:
- Alamance - Caswell County Builder Association
- Greensboro Builders Association
- High Point Area Builders Association
- Winston-Salem Home Builders Association
As a voluntary program, the purpose of the Triad Green Building Council is to encourage homebuilders throughout the Triad to use technologies, products and practices that will:
- Provide greater energy efficiency
- Provide healthier indoor air quality
- Reduce water usage
- Preserve natural resources
- Improve durability and reduce maintenance
The Triad Green Building Council has three primary objectives:
- Provide Educational Programs for industry professionals and area consumers
- Promote Certification of homes through the NAHB Green program
- Increase Public Awareness of Green Building
